Gogglebox's Amy Tapper reveals her family could make epic return to show after quitting for Celebs Go Dating

GOGGLEBOX star Amy Tapper has hinted that she may be returning to the hit channel 4 show in the future.

The 21-year-old took to her Instagram stories to respond to a litany of fan questions from weight loss tips to reality TV plans.

Amy initially quit the hit television show, which follows friends and families as they binge-watch the weeks most popular shows, back in 2018.

She initially joined the reality show in 2013 with her family but quit to star on celebs go dating but she has not ruled out a reunion episode.

Taking to Instagram to respond to fans burning questions, Amy addressed one fan who asked about her future plans in TV.

She responded with "Actually filmed something recently that's coming out soon hopefully so keep your eyes peeled!".

Another fan asked, "Would you go back on Gogglebox, I miss you guys x".

Amy replied with a selfie captioned "From now I don't think so but I think next year or the year after is the 10 year anniversary of Gogglebox so maybe who knows. Maybe we'll come back for a cheeky series.".

Although Amy's return hasn't been confirmed, it definitely isn't out of the question with the 10 year anniversary looming in 2023.

Another fan asked "Do u get demotivated when you don't loose weight? Im struggling so bad xx".

The reality star offered some tips, commenting "Of course! It's so disheartening when you work so hard and nothing comes off but you just have to be persistent and stick with it because our bodies change the whole time and every week can be different."

Amy, who starred on the Channel 4 show with her family from 2013 to 2018, was told by doctors she suffers from a slow metabolism.

But now she's shrunk by three dress sizes, from a 26 to a 20, after cutting down her portion sizes — and dancing around her home.

Amy was taken aback by some of the comments her new slim photos received, admitting that fans' well-meaning words may not have come across as they intended.

Posting on her story, she wrote: "The worst thing is backhanded compliments. Like, compliment someone if you're gonna compliment them.

"Don't be like: 'Well done, another three stone to go' because when you think about it, that's more of an insult than a compliment.

"Especially if you don't actually personally know me."

She defiantly went on to add: "Excuse the rant, I love all of you and your comments and support but unfortunately it's ones like that that stick out.

"My page is for positivity, love, and joy. Those comments will simply just be deleted.
