Harry Redknapp says wife Sandra is 'his life' after revealing she is not well on The Chris Evans Breakfast Show

HARRY Redknapp says wife Sandra is "his life" after revealing she is "not well" on The Chris Evans Breakfast Show.

Earlier this week, the I'm a Celebrity winner spoke movingly about his wife of 51 years and revealed she has fallen ill again after her battle with sepsis last year.

Appearing on today's Virgin Radio show with Chris, 53, Harry once again spoke about his beloved spouse, telling him: "She's my life, she's a different class."

Harry, 72, added how Sandra does everything around their house, saying: "My mrs could have been a plumber, an electrician or anything. She can do everything."

His comments come after an appearance at AOL Build earlier this week, where he revealed: "She hasn’t been particularly well.

"We have been to a specialist in London. I have rung her eight times today just to see how she is."

Sandra suffered from sepsis just before Harry entered the I'm A Celebrity jungle, almost causing him to pull out of the show to be with her.

But she fortunately rallied and was well enough to fly to Australia to celebrate with her husband when he won the ITV show in December.

Speaking of his time on the show, which saw him crowned King of the Jungle, Harry told Chris he "never" expected to win.

He explained: "It didn't enter my mind, people were getting voted out, voted out.

"The families are up at four in the morning to travel in to where you are.
"They've got nearly two hours to travel, waiting around for hours to see who comes out, they had no fun at all."

He also revealed during his AOL Build interview how he and Sandra get through marital spats and keep their long marriage a happy one.

Harry said: "You can’t have a row and throw the towel in – you’ll have good days and bad days. You have to work through it."

He added: "When I met Sandra I knew I wanted to spend the rest of my life with her."
