Harry Styles reveals he’s stuck in California and missing his mum and sister during coronavirus lockdown – The Sun

HARRY Styles has revealed he’s missing his family after getting stuck in California during the coronavirus lockdown.

The 26-year-old was due to fly to Europe for the latest leg of his Love On Tour show but was forced to postpone due to the current situation – which means he’s had to stay in the US.

Discussing his predicament on Capital Breakfast today with Roman Kemp, he was asked where in the world he was.

The former One Direction singer explained: "Well, that's a bit of a long story.

"You see, I kind of got stuck here in California. I was supposed to board a flight home, but on that exact day, the US decided to cancel all flights, so I just had to stay here.

"I'm really sad that I have to cancel it. I was really looking forward to coming home and spending some time with my mum and sister, and my family, but it's for the best.”

Harry’s mum Anne and his sister Gemma still live in the UK, while he spends much of his time across the pond these days.

He continued: "I think, honestly, it's obviously disappointing, but it's not even close to being the most important thing right now.

"I think everybody understands – it's not like there's anything you can do about it. I think the most important thing right now is to keep everybody safe.

"I have to do that for all of our crew, as well as the fans coming to the shows. I don't want to go to a show right now, if this is the thing.”

He will now be touring in England, Ireland and Scotland in March 2021, rather than in April of this year.

And it looks like Harry might have some more new music when the lockdown is over as he revealed he’s been writing.

Asked if he had taken up any new hobbies, he replied: "Well, I haven't exactly taken up any strange or new hobbies exactly. But I have been writing a lot more.

"I haven't really had a lot of time off or to myself the past while, so I now have a chance to do all the stuff that I should have been doing anyway.

"I should be playing the guitar more. I should be writing poems and lyrics more. So, I’ve been doing a lot of that".
