Heartbroken Stephanie Davis reveals she's had a miscarriage and 'feels so lost right now'

STEPHANIE Davis has revealed she's suffered a miscarriage.

The actress, 28, tonight told fans on Instagram of her heartache having kept her pregnancy a secret until now.

Alongside an emotional video of Steph surprising boyfriend Oliver Tasker with the news that she was expecting, she wrote: "We only told close friends and family as wanted to wait till the 12 weeks safety mark even though I thought of course it would all be fine. I was so happy.

"Unfortunately I started getting pains and was under the hospital were they were keeping a close eye on on me. Scans and lots of bloods later I had the dreaded phone call of the hospital saying that my levels were dropping drastically, and sadly my pregnancy is no more.

"Then it was just the waiting game to start bleeding and loose what I dreamt about and was so happy about. I finally thought I had my happy ending. That’s why I’ve been quiet and today the dreaded pains and bleeding has begun, it makes it all real now that it’s over ?."

Stephanie has son Caben, four, from her troubled relationship with ex Jeremy McConnell.

She told how she didn't think she would have another baby after the trauma surrounding her first pregnancy and the miscarriage that followed less than a year later.

Stephanie was left devastated in 2017 when just weeks before the former couple's domestic abuse case was due to be heard in court, she lost her baby.

Her post continued: "I was so excited to finally get to enjoy very second of my pregnancy and it be a happy thing, I never thought I’d have the strength to go through another pregnancy as with Caben it was a horrific traumatic time, but I guess you heal and I couldn’t wait to have my happy ever after with Oliver and Caben and our baby.

"I feel all over the place right now and know I was early but it still hurts. I seen my whole future ahead of me and had my hand on my stomach every day. Just feel so lost right now and my hormones are understandably all over the place. I know one day I’ll get my happy ending but for now I just have to get through this."

The Hollyoaks star said she decided to tell her followers the tragic news as it was they who suggested she might be pregnant in the first place following issues with her skin and cravings for curry.

They were devastated for her and sent their condolences.

Stephanie went official with her boyfriend Oliver in the summer, and he has appeared in loved-up pictures with her ever since.

She was previously in a relationship with her Hollyoaks co-star Owen Warner, but they split in 2019.
