Helen Flanagan branded bimbo with big boobs by Im A Celeb fans

I'm A Celeb South Africa preview sees Carol Vorderman and Helen Flanagan scream in terror

When Helen Flanagan last appeared on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! she was 22-years-old and admittedly struggled with the jungle experience, particularly when it came to the iconic Bushtucker trials.

The public voted for Helen to face seven trials in a row, with her shouting out the infamous words “I’m a celebrity, get me out of here,” on several occasions.

However, as viewers will have seen on Monday night, Helen has returned to the ITV reality show, with her appearing in the new All Stars series set in South Africa.

Speaking about her previous experience, Helen said: “I just got voted and voted and voted and I really struggled with everything.”

But from what fans have seen so far, it appears Helen is really ready to give the trials a go this series. Could she become the first I’m A Celebrity “Legend”?

In her first challenge, Helen along with her new campmates Phil Tufnell and Fatima Whitbread took on Newton’s Cradle, which saw the three celebrities attempt to move from one ball to the next and jump for their star, all while suspended 2000 feet in the air.

It looked like the former Coronation Street actress wasn’t going to take part, after she took her safety helmet off and looked visibly shaken but she soldiered on, with her star just out of reach as she jumped towards it.

Helen revealed in a pre-show interview: “When I went in the jungle the first time, I didn’t prepare at all. I didn’t have a clue what I had let myself in for.

“I want to make my children proud when I take part this time. I am determined to try harder in the trials.

“I’ve had three children and I’ve gone through three labours! I won’t not finish the trials because my mindset will be very different this time around,” Helen confirmed.

Now former I’m A Celebrity contestant Nicola McLean has said its clear Helen is out to prove herself after being branded a “bimbo with big boobs” by fans.

“I think Helen was so stereotyped before and I think we have moved on, we are way further forward with how we are allowed to speak about people,” Nicola told Daily Star.

“Helen was just a ‘bimbo’, has a great bikini body, squealed at the trials, and yeah, a bimbo.

“I think online people might say that but the press won’t be able to do that to her this time which I think is good cos any blonde with big boobs is going to get that is she a bimbo?

“Do I think she will be the best at the trials? I’d be shocked, but neither would I. Do I think she would be more hardcore? Yeah, I think she’s going in there to prove a point.”

Nicola concludes: “I think she was brilliant when she was doing the trial.”

Viewers saw Helen use breathing techniques when she took on her first All Stars challenge, so it could be that she is potentially better equipped to deal with the stress and fear this time around.

I’m A Celebrity South Africa continues tonight on ITV and ITVX at 9pm.
