Inside Charlie Brooks' secret sex toy side hustle | The Sun

SHE is best known for playing Janine Butcher on EastEnders, but behind the scenes Charlie Brooks has been working on a secret project.

The actress, 41, has launched her first vibrator, which she started creating four years ago on her kitchen table.

What began as a clay mould at home is now a sex toy, called U, available to buy.

Charlie has gained the backing of Jacqueline Gold – the chief executive of Ann Summers.

The product is now available to buy for £135 and Charlie couldn’t be happier.

She revealed on This Morning that she came up with the idea in the middle of the night, explaining: "I woke up in the middle of the night about four years ago and went, 'Why isn't there a vibrator that surrounds the clitoris, that surrounds the vulva and doesn't penetrate?'"

The star continued: "I went on this journey.

"I ordered some clay and I started making it around my kitchen table."

Charlie later explained on Instagram: “I was fed up of not feeling comfortable in my body. Realised I didn’t know enough about it, so I went on a journey of the body and mind.

“It’s a powerful one, and I’d love U to go on one too. I’m no life coach or expert on ANYTHING, and I do NOT always get it right. But I can share my experience.
