Inside I’m A Celebrity star Kadeena Cox’s home as she isolates in Wales ahead of show launch

PARAOLYMPIAN Kadeena Cox is preparing for her upcoming stint on this year's I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!

And while she currently isolate in Wales ahead of the show's launch night this Sunday, fans have been enjoying getting a glimpse inside her home on Instagram.

The exceptional sprinter and cyclist regularly shares photos of her abode on her dog's Minnie's Instagram account.

In several shots, her beloved dachshund is seen looking cosy in the middle of her leather couch in her living room.

Aside from the leather couch, Kadeena's living room features warm wooden floors, white walls and she regularly uses the space to do her yoga workouts.

The athlete also gave fans a look at her bathroom, which boasted sand-coloured tiles, as she washed her pet pooch in her bath.

Elsewhere Kadeena's kitchen featured warm brown cabinets, a black speckled countertop and off-white walls.

The sports star is best known for her gold medal performances at two Paralympic games, but now she is expected to take on one of her toughest challenges yet.

Kadeena began sprinting competitively just aged 15 years old and went on to run 100m in under 12 seconds as an able-bodied athlete.

A stroke in 2014 led to her being diagnosed with multiple sclerosis.

Despite the MS affecting her movement, Kadeena maintained her passion for running – and even discovered a second passion for cycling.

Eventually the 30-year-old set her sights on achieving Paralympic glory in both sports.

In 2021, Kadeena entered Celebrity MasterChef – and it's not her first foray into the world of reality TV.

Kadeena has also appeared on Celebrity Bake-Off, Celebrity Gogglebox and even won Celebrity Robot Wars.

Now, the star will join nine other stars from screen, sport and music who will enter the Welsh camp on Sunday.

Former Newcastle and Spurs winger David Ginola wants to make things tasty when he joins hosts Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly at Gwrych Castle, North Wales.

The Frenchman, 54, joked: “I will be hoping to add some garlic and rosemary to the food.

“And rice and beans is perfect as I’ve put on six kilos over the past three months and I think it will be interesting to see if I can lose it in three.”

Telly veteran Richard Madeley, 65, admitted: “I don’t like heights and what bothers me the most is the route into the castle. Maybe I will have to walk a plank.”

At 78, Dame Arlene Phillips is the ITV show’s oldest contestant yet.

But the veteran choreographer laughed: “I’m always the oldest!”

Breakfast host Louise Minchin, 53, did not even tell co-star Dan Walker about her role. But she added: “I don’t think he will be surprised!”

Singer and Loose Women host Frankie Bridge, 32, is following in the footsteps of husband Wayne, a former contestant.

She said: “He can’t wait to watch me squirm and scream.”

Emmerdale’s Danny Miller, 30, confessed he was “s*** scared”, while Olympic diver Matty Lee, 23, said joining up was a dream come true and Producer Naughty Boy, 36, wants to show “the man behind the music”.

Two latecomers, soap actors Adam Woodyatt and Simon Gregson, will arrive next week.
