Inside Jeffree Star’s 500-acre ranch with 40 yaks after controversial influencer ditched his $20million pink mansion | The Sun

AFTER decking his $20million dollar mansion in bubblegum pink from head to toe, Jeffree Star decided he fancied a greener lifestyle in the solace of Wyoming.

The controversial influencer shockingly ditched the glamour of California to live on his rural 500-acre ranch in Casper at the end of 2020.

He left his beloved "Barbie dreamhouse" behind – albeit with a brief interlude in a $20million Hidden Hills mansion – to instead savour the "peace and quiet" in Wyoming.

It's hardly surprising Star escaped the LA sun for the dark nights after staring at the walls of his garish pink palace for several four years.

Despite counting celebs such as Will Smith as his neighbours, the beauty guru was willing to take a loss to get rid of the pad.

He sold it for $220,000 less than he paid for it – even after splashing out on a string of extravagant custom fixtures.

Every inch of the 6,785-square-foot property was smothered in pink, even down to each fabric and fixture.

Star added a string of pricey security measures too to keep his hoard of designer luxury goods safe, including a closet bank vault.

Made of 10,000 of steel and obviously sprayed hot pink, the vault can only be accessed with a fingerprint and retina scan.

And if that didn't scare thieves away, he appointed an armed guard to stay watch outside the bulletproof closet 24 hours a day.

The interior is in a league of its own, whether it is too tacky for your taste or not.

The two-storey foyer was adorned with pink curtains and chandeliers, while pink tufted leather covers the staircase walls.

The YouTuber spared no expense on his pinkifying project, revealing that the stair decor was "installed by several craftsmen."

The sprawling kitchen boasted two islands, a breakfast bar, stone counters and a custom cove ceiling.

It branched off into a formal dining room and a large family room with a wet bar, built-in aquarium and fireplace to get cosy around.

The master bedroom featured an all stone bath, spa tub, a glass-encased shower, and a walk-out balcony that overlooks the neighborhood.

Star said an emotional goodbye to his six-bedroom, seven-bathroom pink palace in a YouTube clip in December 2019.

A year later, he had bid farewell to California completely to move into his extravagant $1.1million ranch in Casper.

As a self-proclaimed lover of the outdoors, the 37-year-old hinted he had had enough of the hustle and bustle of LA.

Star swapped the array of famous pals on his arms to concentrate on rearing cattle instead.

He even named his new home the "Star Yak Ranch" in honour of his army of 40 animals, as well as other farmyard pets.

The make-up mogul regularly shares snaps online with his 13.8million followers showing him cuddling up to his cherished yaks.

But before he had the chance to host a housewarming, he came under fire on social media after fans suspected he was planning to pimp out his pets for meat.

Star filed to trademark Star Yak Ranch with plans to sell natural yak fibers, clothing, edible pet treats made from yaks, butcher shops and butchering services, and breeding and stud services for yaks.

It set alarm bells ringing for his animal-loving supporters, who were shocked he would monetise the yaks he claims to adore.

The social media phenomenon has intensely documented his life since he moved to Wyoming, posting a series of snaps relishing in his rural surroundings.

But he hasn't showed off the interior, only providing glimpses to assure fans it isn't dripping in pink like his former mansion.

His stunning nearly 5,800 square feet Star Yak Ranch reportedly boasts six bedrooms and a separate two-car garage.

It also includes a "shop" with additional room for his luxury collection of cars.

The home was originally built in 2011 for Casper attorney and businessman Jakob Norman, according to reports.

Apart from peaks of the property on social media, Star has kept tight-lipped about the details of his incredible ranch.

His bid to live "off the grid" did little to dampen the excitement of locals, who he has impressed with a number of charitable donations.

With lush views and a tight-knit community by his side, the ranch seems to perfect place for Star to stew over when he should reveal his secret boyfriend.
