Jeremy Clarkson urges fans to complain as Amazon farm show axed despite rave reviews

JEREMY Clarkson has urged fans to complain to Amazon after his farm show was axed despite rave reviews.

Despite the show being a it with viewers after it broke all records on Amazon Prime Video, rumours have been rife that there will not be a second series.

The eight-parter series followed Jeremy on his Diddly Squat farm in the Cotswolds as he faced an agricultural nightmare brought on by the pandemic.

Jeremy updated his fans about the future of the show, leaving several fans disappointed.

When asked by a fan if the show would return for season 2, Jeremy tweeted: "No. We aren’t. Write to Amazon, it’s their decision."

The series has become Amazon’s highest-ever-rated show.

'BEST SHOW ON AMAZON'

Disappointed fans have warned Amazon Prime Video they will cancel their subscription if a second season is not commissioned.

Earlier this month Jeremy tweeted: “Dear everyone. There has been some speculation that a second series of our farming programme has been commissioned.

"It hasn’t but we are hopeful.”

Unhappy fans flocked to demand that another series was commissioned, saying it was the "best thing Amazon ever made ever".

One shocked viewer wrote: "Dear Farmer Jezza, you can tell Amazon that if there isn't a 2nd series commissioned, I will be jacking in my Amazon Subscription!"

Another disgruntled fan shared: "It was ultimately the best thing I've watched on TV for years and significantly better than that desert island nonsense Hamster did! Regards A. Viewer."

A third added: "I will cancel my account if you don’t commission this."

Another commented: "This is my fav thing Amazon ever made ever."

Viewers were hooked on the show as they watched Jeremy mucking in with animals, dealing with dodgy weather and uncooperative crops.

Jeremy's documents his running of a 1,000-acre farm, despite having no farming experience.

The Grand Tour host enlisted help from farm manager Kaleb Cooper whose expletive-laden berating of his boss Jeremy has made him a celebrity not only in Chipping Norton, but worldwide.

Clarkson’s Farm is available to stream on Amazon Prime Video.
