Jesy Nelson gives fans glimpse into her life since Little Mix as she watches terrifying crime documentaries in the dark

JESY Nelson has given fans a glimpse into her life since leaving Little Mix as she watches terrifying crime documentaries in the dark.

The singer recently stepped out of the spotlight and has been enjoying her time at home.

Jesy, 29, shared a short video of herself watching creepy true crime documentaries, in particular 2019's I Love You, Now Die: The Commonwealth v. Michelle Carter.

The talented star admitted to her 7.5 million followers: "This is chilling."

The programme tells the real life story of teenager Michelle Carter who was tried for manslaughter after she sent thousands of text messages to her boyfriend suggesting the many different ways he could commit suicide.

In addition to watching true crime docs, Jesy has also been spending her time, enjoying much deserved lie-ins and cuddles with her pet pooch Reggie.

After Christmas, the star posted a snap of herself posing topless in bed – and admitted sleeping in until 4.30pm.

She captioned the Instagram picture: "Just woke up wbu?"

Revealing her natural beauty Jesy went make-up free as she posed for the camera, with her tousled curls covering half her face.

It's not clear whether Jesy was alone in bed or with her boyfriend, actor Sean Sagar.

Last week she also took to social media to share video of her pup Reggie cuddling in to her legs.

With Jesy wearing Reese's Pieces pyjamas bottoms, Reggie was having a snooze on her lap as she played instrumental lullabies to him.

"Just having a little cat nap," she captioned the sweet video.

Jesy sensationally quit girl band Little Mix earlier this month saying it had "taken a toll on her mental health".

She confirmed she wouldn't be returning after "extended time off" saying she found the "constant pressure" of "living up to expectations very hard".

Jesy told her followers that she was leaving Little Mix with a "heavy heart" as she reflected on the success the band have enjoyed since winning The X Factor in 2011, insisting it had been the "most incredible time" of her life.

She continued: "I can't thank you all enough from the bottom of my heart for making me feel like the luckiest girl in the world.

"You have always been there to support and encourage me and I will never ever forget it.

"The truth is, recently being in the band has really taken a toll on my mental health. I find the constant pressure of being in a girl group and living up to expectations very hard."
