Josh Duggar's Wife, Anna, Clapped Back at a Fan Who Doesn't Like Her Family: 'I'm Sorry You Dislike Us'

Those who’ve followed the Duggars over the years know plenty about Josh Duggar. Back in 2015, his scandals from the early 2000s hit the media, and it’s been a tough road for his wife, Anna, and their family ever since.

Despite it all, Anna continues to post photos, videos, and life updates to social media for her fans. But she’s also not afraid to clap back when necessary. And she commented back to a follower who said they don’t like her family.

Duggar family fans and critics generally have a deep dislike for Josh Duggar

Josh Duggar no longer appears on TLC’s Counting On due to the information that was leaked back in 2015. According to the leak, Josh admitted to molesting five underage girls, a few of whom were his own sisters. The police report obtained by USA Today notes the events happened in 2002, though the media brought them to light much later.

The Duggars did their best to quietly move past the incident, but once the media learned of what occurred, it caused mayhem for the family. A few Duggar daughters, like Jessa and Jill, talked to the press about how the leak affected them personally. And the scandal nearly cost Josh his marriage with Anna as well.

“For nearly the last two years, we have quietly worked to save our marriage, focus on our children, and rebuild our lives together as a family,” Josh and Anna wrote to the Duggar family website in 2017. “Doing so is never easy after a breach of trust. We’ve learned that a life of faith and rebuilding a life together is simply done one day at a time.”

Josh Duggar’s wife, Anna, also receives backlash

It’s not just Josh who takes heat from fans. Anna has stuck by Josh’s side through the best and worst of times, and it’s clear she intends on sticking with him for the rest of her life. Unfortunately, she gets plenty of mean comments on her Instagram when she posts photos of Josh. And it’s clear she still wishes she was on Counting On as well.

On Aug. 25, Anna posted photos from a Christmas Counting On episode she was featured in with her kids. “It means a lot when our family is included (on rare occasions) in the events that air on TV with Joshua’s family,” she captioned the post. “We had a blast celebrating Christmas with an ugly sweater party and a Christmas play! Hope you guys will tune in tonight!”

Despite backlash in the past, fans supported Anna in the comments of the photo and told her she should come back on the show permanently.

Anna’s known for commenting back to her fans on Instagram. And even the not-so-nice comments sometimes get a response.

On Sept. 7, Anna posted photos of her kids to commemorate Labor Day. A fan commented, “As much as I dislike this family, these are really nice pictures of the kids.”

“I’m sorry you dislike us,” Anna commented back. “Hope you know we love you, and most importantly God loves you more than you could ever imagine!”

Fans seemed to support Anna’s comment, too.

“You’re so sweet, glad you don’t let trolls get to you,” a fan commented. “Love seeing your sweet family.”

“Anna, you are beautiful inside and out,” another wrote. “God’s love shines through you and your family! I do wish we could see the whole family more on TLC.”

We’re glad Anna isn’t letting the negative commentary get to her. And we’re sure she’ll continue to respond to her followers whether they have good or bad commentary.
