Kendall Jenner defended by fans as cruel trolls mock her skin at the Golden Globes and savage her over doomed Pepsi advert

KENDALL Jenner was defended by her fans after she was picked on by cruel trolls during the Golden Globes.

Online bullies mocked the 22-year-old supermodel’s skin and her doomed Pepsi advert as she made her debut appearance at the glamorous awards ceremony in Los Angeles.

Kendall’s huge following leapt to her defence as trolls remarked on her complexion, which she previously admitted ruined her self-esteem as a teenager.

One of her fans bit back: “You’re really out here talking s**t about her skin? You’re out here making fun of something that is a completely normal thing for everyone to go through? Grow up. Acne or not, she’s gorgeous.”

A second wrote: “Seriously guys…You think it's smart to make fun of Kendall just because she has bad skin tonight?”

Another told the trolls: “Y’all need to stop making fun of Kendall’s face. I get y’all have clear skin but a lot of us suffer through acne and it’s embarrassing enough and to have someone point it out…”

The trolls also targeted Kendall over her scrapped Pepsi advert, which was pulled last year after being accused of trivialising the Black Lives Matter movement.

One cruel user wrote: "Why is Kendall Jenner there? For her amazing work in the Pepsi commercial?!"
Another sneered: "Why is Kendall Jenner at the awards ceremony? Was she nominated for that Pepsi commercial?"

Kendall has previously spoken at length about her battle with acne as a teenager.

She wrote on her blog last year: “I had such bad acne when I was younger.

“It completely ruined my self-esteem. I wouldn’t even look at people when I talked to them. I felt like such an outcast; when I spoke, it was with my hand covering my face.”

Kendall’s stunning strapless tulle dress saw her named the best dressed star on the night.

She wowed the crowds on the red carpet as she made her entrance alongside Jessica Biel and Dakota Johnson.

Like the majority of the stars at tonight’s ceremony, Kendall make a stand by wearing black.

The uniform colour was a silent show of support for the “Me Too” movement and the “Time’s Up” campaign.

The “Me Too” hashtag, which started trending worldwide following a call to action from actress Alyssa Milano, has been used by some of the biggest A-list stars including Reese Witherspoon, Jennifer Lawrence, Gwyneth Paltrow and Lady Gaga.

Time’s Up, an initiative created by 300 female Hollywood actors, executives, writers and directors to “counter systemic sexual harassment in the entertainment business”, created pins which many of tonight’s attendees proudly wore.

Not everyone got the memo however, with Blanco Blanca causing outrage among some fans by wearing a bright red dress.
