Who does Camille Cottin play in Killing Eve?

Camille Cottin made her debut in Killing Eve season three, episode four.

Cottin plays the role of Helene, a high ranking member of The Twelve.

Unfortunately, not much is known about her, but considering she instructed Dasha (played by Dame Harriet Walter) to keep Eve (Sandra Oh) and Villanelle (Jodie Comer) apart, suggests she will play a huge role in the remaining two episodes.

Speaking to Canal Plus, Cottin described her character as “mysterious” and “enigmatic.”

Helene appeared unannounced, interrupting Dasha whilst she was swimming.

She asked Dasha why Villanelle was “pursuing her agent friend” and threatened Dasha with returning her to Russia if she did not stop Villanelle.

Dasha offered to kill Eve herself, but Helene rejected the idea, claiming it would “cause too many other problems.”

Helene then said: “Just drive a wedge between them. I don’t care how. Use your imagination.”

Taking matters into her own hands, Dasha travelled to Poland and killed Eve’s estranged husband, Niko (Owen McDonnell).

Instead of taking credit for the killing, she framed Villanelle by copying one of her signature handwritten notes and attaching it to the weapon.

Fans will have to wait until episode five to find out just how Eve will react to the death of her husband and what steps Helene will take next.
