Loose Women’s Coleen causes meltdown with Eamonn Holmes bedroom ‘confession’

On today's Loose Women, Coleen Nolan joked that Ruth Langsford's husband Eamonn Holmes didn't snore when he was with her.

The ITV ladies were discussing Scarlett Moffatt's show The British Tribe Next Door, as, on it, the African tribe spoke of how their husband's had multiple wives.

Coleen, 54, who is currently single after divorcing husband Ray Fensome in 2018, joked she wouldn't mind sharing her man with friends so she wouldn't have to sleep with him.

She said: "Has there not been times where you've thought, 'God, anything to save me from doing it?'

"Casualty's on, you don't want the interference. 'Off you pop, next door!'"

The ladies laughed, but Ruth, 59, soon had a reason to stop being so happy.

Janet Street-Porter suggested Ruth wouldn't mind sharing Eamonn, saying: "You've said that Eamonn snores."

But Ruth quickly corrected her, as she said: "No, I snore!"

Never one to miss a beat – or the chance to share her adoration of Eamonn – Coleen quipped: "He never snores when he's with me."

Ruth immediately burst out laughing, but it soon turned to a forced chuckle.

The attention returned to Coleen later when her co-stars took a trip down memory lane and looked at her childhood and rise to stardom.

Coleen – who was part of family girl group The Nolans – explained how she and her sisters were "huge" in Japan, topping Japanese music charts with I'm in the Mood for Dancing.

While promoting their music in the Asian country they sang their song in Japanese, though Coleen admitted she couldn't recite it now.

She recalled how when she arrived in the foreign country "hundreds of thousands" of people swarmed the airport and she and her sisters had to be escorted by the military.

Coleen also discussed her father and his relationship with alcohol, admitting it's put her off drinking a bit.

She said: "I do have a bit of a drink-phobia. I'm not against people drinking, but as soon as the personality changes, which inevitably it does, that's when I've got to go."
