Love Actually fans astonished as 'cute kid' Thomas Sangster-Brodie appears on This Morning aged 30

LOVE Actually's Thomas Brodie-Sangster surprised fans with how old he now is during an appearance on This Morning today.

The actor, who shot to fame as cute lovestruck kid Sam in the Richard Curtis classic, is now a motorbike-riding 30-year-old man.

Thomas, who appeared in Love Actually when he was just 11, appeared via video-link from his bedroom in South London.

Many viewers couldn't believe how old he was now with one remarking: "S***ting hell he's aged."

Another tweeted: "Can't believe Thomas Brodie-Sangster is 30 years of age."

A third joked: "Thomas Brodie-Sangster managed to keep his baby face and AGE at the same time."

Reflecting on his time on Love Actually, he said: "It's a strange life to lead, especially as a young person. But it was a life I always loved.

"It was a life of adventure. I guess I kept somewhat grounded and relied on my friends and school. I'm still riding the wave but we'll see how it goes."

The star has taken on a number of prominent roles since his star turn as Liam Neeson's son in Love Actually.

He has played Jojen Reed in Game Of Thrones and Newt in the Maze Runner films.

Most recently he played US chess champ Benny Watts in Netflix drama hit The Queen's Gambit.
