Love Island star reveals he's going back to his 'normal job' just two months after making the show final | The Sun

A LOVE Island star has revealed that he’s going back to his ‘normal job’ just weeks after reaching the final of the hit show.

Tyrique Hyde was a semi-professional footballer before heading onto the reality show this summer.

And the 24-year-old Dartford midfielder has decided to go back to his footy career, and revealed the news on social media.

Sitting on the grass with his legs in shot and wearing football boots, Tyrique penned to his followers: “Pre season starts now.”

The handsome star has rocketed to fame since leaving the villa, alongside girlfriend Ella Thomas.

But it seems he plans on juggling his newfound fame with football, after posting the telling snap.

Tyrique has footballer roots too, with his dad being Micah Anthony Hyde.

Micah took up football at a young age, playing alongside David Beckham in the Brimsdown Rovers youth team.

The former Premier League player retired from the game in 2012, before going into coaching.

Away from the pitch, some Love Island fans have been left convinced that Tyrique and Ella are on the rocks.

He added: "That's what I'm saying, one of us needs to compromise … or we don't."

Tyrique continued: "With me and Ella, she's got a lot of pride and I've got a lot of pride you know and I want it my way and she wants it hers."

Attempting to reassure fans, he added: "But we are still good.

"We don't really argue, we just disagree or whatever."

Yet fans picked up on the comment and speculated if things really were OK between the fan-favourite couple.
