Love Island will see one of its biggest twists in history on Wednesday night as one of the girls will be sent home just 48 hours after the show started.

The villa was rocked on Tuesday night when Chloe Burrows arrived on the island and dated all five boys – Aaron Francis, Brad McClelland, Hugo Hammond, Jake Cornish and Toby Aromolaran.

In classic Love Island fashion, Chloe was told she had 24 hours to decide which boy she wants to couple up with, with the episode ending just before she announced her decision.

But it has now been revealed that the girl left single will be dumped from the island, making her the fastest contestant to ever leave the show.

This means either Faye Winter, Kaz Kamwi, Liberty Poole, Shannon Singh or Sharon Gaffka has already left the villa and is now in hiding so their identity is not revealed.

Typically, an islander is not dumped until day six, although series six star Ollie Williams voluntary left the show on day four, and season five's Callum MacLeod was dumped on day five.

Viewers of the hit ITV2 show were left unimpressed with new arrival Chloe on Tuesday night as she "disrespected" Hugo by getting his name wrong.

As the girls got ready in the dressing room, the star shared how most of the guys in the villa were her type apart from one.

Scrambling for his name, Chloe blurted out the name "Diego" which isn’t a name any of the boys go by in this year’s line up.

Luckily Shannon was quick to her aid and corrected her that Hugo was the unfortunate singleton who she didn’t fancy.

Over the two episodes that have been released from the show so far, Hugo has become a firm fan favourite online and viewers weren't impressed by Chloe's name mixup.

One social media user took to Twitter to write: "The disrespect from Chloe towards Hugo."

Another agreed: "Need more respect for my boy Hugo, everyone pushing him away just because he's 'too nice'."

A third chimed: "Diego? These people need to give Hugo some respect."

Elsewhere, one user added: "No way did chloe just disrespect hugo like that … get her OUT."

Love Island airs nightly at 9pm on ITV2 and ITV Hub. Episodes are available the following morning on BritBox.
