Love Island: Yewande Biala and Amber Gill pitted against each other as new bombshell Danny Williams chooses to date BOTH

Two Love Island favourites have been pitted against each other, as they both have been chosen to go on dates with new bombshell Danny Williams.

Danny arrives into the villa to whisk Yewande out on a date – who has so far showed no interest in any of the villa boys.

But in a cruel twist, Danny is then asked to take another girl on a date, despite appearing to hit it off with Yewande.

He decides to choose her pal Amber Gill, who is currently coupled up with Anton Danyluk – but the pair aren’t romantically linked.

He was seen being very flirty with the duo, complimenting Yewande on her smile and telling Amber he could “tell she had modelled”.

Fans in their masses were surprised that the two girls would be going head-to-head, with one writing: “Amber was obvi so happy for Yewande going out with Danny and told that Yewande was her best mate and stuff, now we’ll get to see that friendship darling!”

In clips from the show, Yewande could be seen saying to the girls: “I'm excited to get ready and get glammed up and go on the date.

"I've been looking forward to going on a date so it's nice to get out of the villa and meet someone new and hopefully form a romantic couple."

“I swear to god, if Amber steals Yewande’s chance of happiness the whole of the UK will be fuming. #LoveIsland,” a second wrote, while a third added: “How rude of the producers to put yewande and amber basically against each other or try to set up a beef!”

Danny had previously admitted he thinks Yewande could be the one for him.

The hunk told The Daily Star: "From what I can gather from what I've seen so far, I think Yewande ticks a lot of boxes.

"She strikes me as someone who is very intelligent and is quite independent.

"We're all in there looking for love, but she's her own woman and doesn't seem to be playing games or have any tactics, which I find attractive." Love Island continues tonight 9pm on ITV2.
