Love Islands Haris leaves fans unimpressed with very specific dating rule

Winter Love Island has barely started, but one new Islander has already caused controversy among fans after discussing his very specific dating requirement.

Haris Namani, 21, has got fans of the show talking after he said that he "doesn’t want to date a girl who has feet bigger than a size 5."

It raised eyebrows with Love Island viewers, who quickly flooded Twitter with their hilarious reactions to his admission.

One tweeted: “Cant be above a size 5 in shoes?? are you mad. #LoveIsland.”

Another wrote: "Size 5 feet requirements for ur gal?? Pls Haris is an undercover foot model scout," whilst a third tweeted: "Haris meeting the love of his life then finding out she’s a size 5.5 #LoveIsland."

A fourth added: "Haris gonna be preeing the feet to see if they’re under size 5 before he steps forward," whilst a fifth said: "Omg – okay, the size 5 feet is a problem now. Haris please sshhh!"

Haris has already seen controversy ahead of his arrival on the show, after his ex girlfriend called him the "biggest game player" ahead of the new series.

Courtney Hodgson, a 23 year old model from Doncaster, has accused TV salesman Haris, 21, of dumping her to appear on the show.

She wrote in a now deleted comment: "Biggest game player going, leaving me for a TV show and I called it from the second he left me."

Courtney's sister, Ellie, also took to the comments: "Imagine leaving a girl to go on love island".

When asked to "spill" the gossip, she replied: "He went with my sister for a whole year and ended it a month ago for "boxing"."

Before going on the show, Haris said of going on it that it would be the "best opportunity to find love".

He said: "I've never found love. I think this is the show that can help me.

"It's the best opportunity for me to find the girl and find the right one. I've obviously not found the right one myself."

The new series is back with a bang, with the first five couples now revealed, after five new boys entered the villa, followed by the girls.

The guys were told to step forward for each of the girls that they fancied, before the girls were told to couple up with the guy that they liked.

The first five couples of this series are: Tanya and Shaq; Lana and Ron; Tanyel and Kai; Anna-May and Haris; and Olivia and Will.
