Martine crushed in Hollyoaks as undercover cop Nate tells her Lisa is dead?

Martine Deveraux (Kelle Bryan) could be in for quite the shock in Hollyoaks, after Nate Denby (Chris Charles) asked her to accompany him to the station.

The request, as it would, left Martine stunned, especially given that Nate had moments before confirmed that he was investigating a murder.

The undercover cop has been looking into Lisa Loveday’s (Rachel Adedeji) disappearance, and in doing so, he came to the conclusion that she is dead.

What’s more, he’s convinced that one member of Deveraux / Westwood / Faroe family killed her, and subsequently covered it up.

Felix Westwood (Richard Blackwood) is his primary suspect, and thus he confronted him in Tuesday’s (December 7) first-look offering of the Channel 4 soap, revealing his identity as a member of the police force.

It was quite clear that Felix was spooked, but nonetheless he warned Nate against investigating his family, and warned him to stay away from Martine, reminding him that she is battling cancer.

Nate contemplated his next move, but some advice from Grace Back (Tamara Wall) led him to believe that action was necessary, and therefore he decided to do the one thing Felix told him not to.

Yes, he confronted Martine!

Revealing that he’s an undercover cop, Nate told Martine that he’s investigating the murder of a village resident, leaving her stunned.

Afterwards, he asked her to come down to the station the following day, in the hopes of asking her some questions.

But will he shatter her world by revealing that Lisa is dead?

Lisa’s body will be discovered in upcoming scenes, prompting Celeste Faroe (Andrea Ali) to take shocking action in order to protect her brother Toby (Bobby Gordon).

Toby, as fans know, murdered Lisa last year, and Celeste assisted him in covering up the crime.

Hollyoaks continues Wednesday December 8 at 7pm on E4.
