Matt Hancock breaks out his cringey dance moves in first look at I'm A Celebrity homecoming show | The Sun

I'M A Celebrity finalist Matt Hancock treated fans to a cringe-worthy boogie during the programme's action-packed homecoming show.

Conservative MP Matt, 44, the former Secretary of State for Health, bust out a series of moves while wearing a formal white shirt and jeans – much to hosts Ant and Dec's delight.

During his time in the I'm A Celebrity jungle, Matt appeared to make viewers uncomfortable when he gave a glimpse of his smooth moves – as well as singing skills- to track Sweet Caroline.

Indeed, he is not the only Conservative politician who is noted for dancing in public – with former Prime Minister Theresa May showing off her talents at the party conference back in 2018.

Yet Matt didn't seem to care – joining co-star Scarlette Douglas for the dance in front of the ITV hosts.

He added a hand-clap and some one-legged jigs to jazz up the routine after celebrating coming third.

On Sunday, the I'm A Celeb votes were revealed as Jill Scott was crowned Jungle Queen.

Jill was the clear front runner as the campmates were whittled down to three when former Rugby Union star Mike Tindall departed the camp in fourth place.

Over 12 million votes were cast in the final, as revealed by Ant and Dec in last night's live finale, where the footballer received 47.29 per cent of the initial vote.

Owen Warner received 30.99 per cent of the vote whilst Matt Hancock was eliminated after receiving 21.72 per cent of the vote.

On his show exit, West Suffolk MP Matt rushed straight into the arms of his girlfriend Gina Coladangelo.

After getting the boot, Matt spoke about his decision to take part in the reality show, saying: "I know that it was controversial me coming here, I know some people said people in your position shouldn't put themselves in embarrassing situations.

"But we're all human and we all put ourselves in it."

He added: "I just went in absolutely clear that I was going to be totally myself as if there cameras weren't on and that's what I did.

"And that is what I'm like in private!"

Gina, 45 – whose lockdown-flouting affair with Matt was exposed by The Sun last year – looked chic in trousers and a top.

The mum-of-three flew out to Australia earlier this week to be by Matt's side.
