Netflix’s You season 2 trailer sees Joe murder again as he gets new target

Netflix has released the trailer for the second season of sinister stalker series You, starring Gossip Girl hunk Penn Badgley.

Penn plays the focal character Joe Goldberg, who went on a killing spree in season one, murdering his love interest Beck (Elizabeth Lail), her ex Benji (Lou Taylor Pucci) and her best friend Peach (Shay Mitchell).

The finale saw his former girlfriend Candace (Ambyr Childers) turn up unannounced, after viewers had been led to believe he'd killed her too.

And the bookworm is set to kill again, as he's seen covered in blood in the new trailer, though the victim's identity is yet to be revealed.

The trailer sees Joe jump ship and move from New York City to Los Angeles, taking on the new identity of Will.

He sets his sight on a new girl – Love Quinn, played by The Haunting of Hill House star Victoria Pedretti.

It then becomes clear that he's still got his creepy ways up his sleeves, as he retreats into a storage locker.

Love's brother Forty (James Scully) quizzes Joe on his intentions for Love, clearly completely unaware of his shady past.

Soon enough, Candace turns up to keep an eye on Joe, and his murderous tendencies return.

He's seen with blood completely covering his hands, before later returning to the secret cage, with a body in it that has bled out – though their identity is not revealed.

Could Joe kill Candace to keep her quiet?

Or could he murder Forty, to keep him from meddling in his relationship with Love?
