OUR Yorkshire Farm's Amanda Owen has revealed the surprising way she manages nine kids on Christmas Day.

The Yorkshire Shepherdess has a large brood with her husband Clive, and during an appearance in Our Big Yorkshire Christmas she revealed the strict festive rule they adhere to every year.

As she watched her kids opening gifts, she said: "With a family of nine, we don't go overboard."

Clive added: "We get stuff the suits them."

The children seemed quite happy with their parents' process, and the family were also seen getting the Christmas dinner ready and laying the table.

The show, which featured Channel 5 favourites like the Owen's, The Yorkshire Vet and more, also saw Clive give his wife a hug and a kiss before wishing her a Merry Christmas.

The footage was filmed during the festive lockdown last year, and since then, Amanda and Clive's relationship has come under scrutiny this year after it emerged they hadn’t been living together.

Amanda addressed the speculation during an interview with Lorriane Kelly today, admitting she just “gets on with it.”

Asked how she deals with the difficult side of life since appearing on the show, she said: “You have your difficult moments. But you have to take the rough with the smooth.

“We’ve just talked about how you weather a storm. So we are pretty resilient in the hills.

“That’s all you’ve got to do. You’ve got to remember, the bottom line is, if you are proud of what you’re doing, you kind of sort of have to shoulder it.”

She added: “In other words; ‘Get on with it’. Ignore it”.

Meanwhile, Amanda recently revealed how she had told her nine children to "run" from the farm and "go and see the wider world".
