Official trailer for Netflix’s documentary series ‘Queen Cleopatra’

Who is in the cast of Queen Cleopatra?

Queen Cleopatra – Adele James

Behind the last pharaoh of Egypt, Queen Cleopatra, in this mix of dramatisation and expert opinion is actress Adele James.

She is best recognised for playing Christina ‘Tina’ Mollett in the BBC medical drama Casualty in 2020.

Before this, James appeared in a number of shorts, as well as That’s What She Said, Acceptable Damage and The Corona Connections.

Talking about her iconic role, James explained: “Cleopatra has been misunderstood and misrepresented over time.

“She’s been over-sexualised and not credited enough for the intelligent, brilliant, political leader she was.

“There’s so much more to Cleopatra than meets the eye, than what we think we know from Hollywood versions of her.”

Julius Caesar – John Partridge

Actor John Partridge is taking on the infamous role of the Roman leader Julius Caesar.

The 51-year-old was behind Christian Clarke in EastEnders for eight years but is equally known for his musical theatre work.

Partridge was part of the original 1998 cast of the musical Cats as Rum Tum Tugger.

According to his IMDb page, his next upcoming part is in an animated children’s series called Not Pat.

Bar the BBC One soap, Greco has been in The Killer Beside Me, Doctors, Chasing Shadow and Casualty.
