RHOA's NeNe & Gregg Leakes' son Brentt, 22, throws party at family lounge to honor late father hours after his death
REAL Housewives of Atlanta alum Nene and husband Gregg Leakes’ son Brentt, 22, threw a party at their family lounge to honor his late father.
The celebration took place just hours after Gregg passed away from cancer.
Brentt documented the bash- which was held at The Linnethia Lounge- on his Instagram Story on Wednesday.
One post showed off a chalkboard sign with a drawing of Gregg, while someone wrote: “Celebrating the life of Gregg Leakes.”
He then shared a post from the lounge’s Instagram account promoting a karaoke night in honor of Gregg, while Brent added: “Come celebrate my dads life tonight. Ima be there and Ima probably cry.”
He also promised to buy those in attendance Casamigos tequila.
A clip followed of Brentt dancing and singing as he celebrated his father’s life at the event.
TRAGIC LOSS
Gregg lost his fight to cancer on Wednesday after first being diagnosed in 2018, the family confirmed.
A spokesperson told E! News: "Today the Leakes family is in deep pain with a broken heart.
"After a long battle with cancer, Gregg Leakes has passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by all of his children, very close loved ones, and wife NeNe Leakes.
"We ask that you pray for peace and strength over their family & allow them to mourn in private during this very, very difficult time."
NeNe, 53, and Gregg- a real estate investor- first tied the knot in 1997, before divorcing in 2011.
However, the pair reunited and once again walk down the aisle in 2013.
He worked as a real estate investor in the Atlanta, Georgia area for over 20 years and was able to accumulate an estimated net worth of $4 million.
BELOVED FATHER
Gregg is the father to six children, Denton, Dexter, Katrina, Daryl, Damian, and Brentt.
Brentt- who is the only child he shared with the RHOA star- recently posted an emotional tribute to his late father.

He said: "Spend time with your loved ones every chance you get.
"Time is so F**king valuable dog. I can't express it."
Brentt added: "I'm learning the hard way watching my dad fight every day. Please go create memories with ya people."
NENE'S TRIBUTE
On Thursday, NeNe broke her silence after Gregg's tragic death and posted a sweet video of their final dance together on Instagram.
In the short clip, Gregg wore a green cap on his head and had on a dress shirt during the sweet dance.
The RHOA star repeated the lyrics to Johnny Gill's song It Would Be You as she lovingly circled around him.
NeNe stunned in a black gown that said "Gucci," which also had stars on it.
The Bravo star simply captioned the video with heart emojis.
