Sam Thompson left open-mouthed as Salt Bae FLIRTS with girlfriend Zara McDermott on visit to his Nusr-Et Steakhouse

SAM Thompson was left gobsmacked last night as Salt Bae flirted with his girlfriend Zara McDermott right in front of him – while completely ignoring his presence.

The Made In Chelsea star was excited to visit the most talked about restaurant in London at the moment – Nusr-Et Steakhouse, but was shocked by the owner’s behaviour.

Sharing a visit from inside the venue, which famously sells a gold-coated steak for £850, Sam revealed he had been snubbed.

He explained: "He flirted with Zara in front of my eyes. He said she had nice legs and then asked why she was so beautiful and then walked past me.”

Despite that Sam said he didn’t care as long as Nusret Gökçe came to his table and sprinkled salt on their steak.

And just when he thought they had been snubbed for that too, Nusret appeared and worked his magic before proceeding to feed the steak to Zara.

Sam joked: “Needless to say I didn’t get one in the mouth. Did get a head nod though.”

Later that night, as he lay in bed with Zara, Sam made it clear he won’t be going back there.

He said: “Yeah Nusr-et is lovely but way too expensive. Fun experience, but won’t go again.”

The restaurant has received mixed reviews since it opened in London and has divided fans with it’s prices.

Danielle Lloyd, for example, splashed out £100 on a gold-coated burger, but thought it was worth it for the experience.

One diner was left furious though when they were left with a £37k bill after paying £850 for the Golden Tomahawk.

The hungry group also forked out £400 for 16 Baklavas, £14 for sautéed broccoli and £12 for a side of mashed potato.

The bill-payer even paid £9,100 for a vintage 1996 bottle of Petrus, and £19,900 for two bottles of 2003 Petrus – all luxurious red wines.

Other famous faces who have visited already include Kate and Rio Ferdinand and Dani Dyer.
