Spoilers: John Paul reveals his shocking secret in Hollyoaks

John Paul McQueen (James Sutton) is harbouring a big secret in Hollyoaks, and he ultimately decides to take back control from the blackmailer by coming clean about what it is that he’s hiding.

The McQueens are summoned for an urgent announcement, and the blackmailer’s sinister doll wastes little time revealing that it wants £10,000 by the end of the day. If they refuse to comply, then the next sin — ‘greed’ — will be revealed.

A desperate John Paul goes to James Nightingale (Gregory Finnegan) for help, but James reveals he wants something in return.

Therefore, John Paul turns to best mate Nancy Osborne (Jessica Fox), as he pops by for a visit. Nancy can tell something is bothering him, but he’s soon distracted by Kyle Kelly’s (Adam Rickitt) expensive watch, and he’s tempted.

Will he steal the watch to pay off blackmailer Silas Blissett (Jeff Rawle)?

Later, Nancy is fuming when she discovers that the watch is missing, and accuses Ollie Morgan of taking it.

Has John Paul committed the theft?

In the subsequent episode, the next sin is revealed, and this time, it’s ‘Pride.’

John Paul knows full well that this ‘sin’ is his own, but knowing that he cannot afford to pay again, her decides that he’s got no choice but to come clean and reveal his deepest, darkest secret.
