Spoilers: Ruby is in danger after swallowing a pill in Corrie

Tyrone Dobbs’ (Alan Halsall) young daughter Ruby will find herself in danger when she swallows a pill in Coronation Street.

But in a surprising twist, the ordeal will see Emma (Alexandra Mardell) grow suspicious of Curtis (Sam Retford).

As Emma babysits Hope and Ruby, she goes to switch off Curtis’ medical drama DVD (fan of Holby? Casualty?) but is puzzled to hear the Doctor using the same phrase Curtis used when tending to Harvey (Will Mellor) on the night of the storm.

As Emma and Gemma (Dolly-Rose Campbell) discuss the coincidence, they’re horrified to realise that Ruby has swallowed one of Curtis’ pills.

At A&E, Emma shows the doctor Curtis’ pills and explains he suffers from a heart condition.

Fortunately, the doctor confirms Ruby is fine because she hasn’t swallowed Curtis’ heart medication – she’s in fact swallowed a vitamin.

Emma is confused, but will this lead her to making a discovery?

We now know Curtis doesn’t have a heart condition, but does have factitious illness disorder – could this be the moment Emma discovers the truth?
