Strictly Come Dancing fans accuse Judi Love of having advantage after week off

Comedian Judi Love and partner Graziano Di Prima were absent from Strictly Come Dancing last week following a positive Covid-19 test result, but fans took to Twitter to express their thoughts about her upcoming performance.

Judi and Graziano are allowed to perform the same dance to the same song they were originally planning to use before they had to take a week off.

The couple were supposed to perform the Cha Cha Cha to Physical by Grease icon Olivia Newton-John before they had to isolate.

One disgruntled fan wrote: "I like Judi but a bit unfair she gets to the dance she was supposed to do last week? Ugo and Tom moved on to a new dance."

Another made their point: "I think it's because Judi spent four days learning her dance before going into isolation. I don't think it's unfair at all. She's stronger in Latin so this could be her best week yet.”

Despite the concerns, one Twitter user made a fair point: "Judi won't be back to training until later this week. She had already started training on the Cha Cha so it's only fair that she gets to continue that training rather than have literally one day to learn an entire new routine."

Sicilian dancer Graziano Di Prima, 27, went partying in Soho with a friend and ex Strictly professional Robin Windsor just hours after his dance partner Judi announced she had Covid-19.

Earlier that day, Judi had posted on Instagram saying: "I don't even know what day it is.

“I just want to say to you guys, 'rona is real. I give thanks that I was doing little exercise and dancing thing. I feel like I'm handling it much better than I would have had if I hadn't been doing little exercise and a little sweat.”

She added: “I can't even smell myself," joking that: “Rona has got you coughing so hard you're begging for a sponsorship from Tena Ladies!”

She ended her video with: "I just want to say thank you for all your well wishes. Love you."

On Graziano’s partying, a source said: “He has done nothing wrong as he is double jabbed and had tested negative but it's a terrible look for the show, which has strict social distancing measures in place for filming.”

Strictly continues this weekend on BBC One
