Strictly Come Dancing fans delighted as Giovanni and Rose-Ayling Ellis share emotional reunion | The Sun

STRICTLY Come Dancing fans rejoiced last night after seeing 2021 show winners Giovanni Pernice and Rose Ayling-Ellis reuniting on screen.

The Italian stallion invited the actress to take part in his new series Giovanni And Anton: Adventures In Sicily on the BBC.


Rose, 28, and Giovanni, 32, enjoyed a sweet reunion in Sicily at the end of the first episode last night.

A teaser for next week's installment saw the former dance partners in an emotional embrace after Rose hopped out of a helicopter.

The former EastEnders actress, who delivered Gio his first ever Strictly win, beamed in a floral jumpsuit and a white shirt.

Fans were delighted to see her on their screens and person tweeted: "Rose, can’t wait for next week #AdventuresInSicily."

The show sees the Italian, who recently split from his Strictly girlfriend, take Strictly’s judge Anton back to where he was born and raised.

Anton, 56, spoke about filming the show as he asked fans for their feedback after attending a special screening of the first episode last night.

Alongside a photo of said: "Well, my loves, how did we do?! I so hope you enjoyed episode 1 of our Sicilian adventure – I think you can probably tell Gio and I had such a wonderful time together… and there's so much more to come! If you missed it, you'll find the iPlayer link in my bio… enjoy!"

His followers were quick to praise the show and one said: "Loved it! You are both so lovely and funny too! Really enjoyable"
