Katie and Gorka danced their last Strictly Come Dancing routine together last week, as Sunday’s results show saw the pair eliminated from the hit BBC competition. As it was movie week, the two were dressed up as Cruella de Vil and a Dalmatian dog. As Gorka began to detail that he was going to wear the outfit for fiancé and former Strictly partner Gemma Atkinson, Rylan was forced to intervene.

As the pair sat on the It Takes Two sofa alongside Rylan, he commented: “I was gutted to see you guys go. How are you feeling now?”

“We’re alright,” actress Katie, 28 replied. “We’re just sad because it means we can’t be rehearsing together, it means our journey’s ended but we’re still going to stay friends.”

As she smiled at Gorka, 31, he nodded, which sparked Rylan to remark: “That didn’t look too convincing Gork!”

“Yes, of course!” The Spanish dancer responded.

Katie continued: “He lives in Manchester, I live in Manchester, we’ve already set up a dinner date.

“We’re going to catch up, we’ve got mutual friends so we’re going to stay in touch.”

Alluding to last Saturday’s costumes, the host asked: “Are you going be wearing the dog outfit every time you go out for dinner now or?”

“Erm yeah,” Gorka replied, adding: “Gemma is waiting for me at home-“

“Alright!” Rylan cut in. “Keep it clean! It’s half past 6, please do you mind!”

He swiftly changed the subject, commenting: “Let’s talk about Saturday,” before responding to the laughter in the studio.

The 32-year-old joked: “Stop it you lot! I know what they’re like.”

It comes after judge Craig Revel Horwood, 56, made a similarly saucy comment on Saturday night.

Following the dance, he commented: “Thank you Gorka for barking at me darling.

“It really has made my night seeing you on all fours, darling.”

Katie and Gorka were also in the bottom two last week, where they faced the dance-off alongside Nina Wadia and Neil Jones.

The judges decided Nina should leave the competition.

Sunday night saw Katie and Gorka back in the dreaded position of the dance-off once again though.

Alongside Judi Love and Graziano di Prima, they performed their dances for a second time.

Anton Du Beke opted to save Katie, but the other three judges picked Judi to stay in the show.

It Takes Two airs daily at 6.30pm on BBC One, while Strictly Come Dancing continues on Saturday at 6.45pm on BBC One.
