STRICTLY COME Dancing host Tess Daly has revealed that she can fit into her 16-year-old daughter's dresses as she gave fans a rare look at her huge garden.

The 52-year-old star was enjoying a quiet night in with husband Vernon Kay as they enjoyed a romantic "date night" together.

In the snap, the pair are relaxing on their comfortable-looking garden furniture, with Tess holding onto a cocktail.

Lanterns and a bowl of strawberries on the table add to the romantic setting, with the sun flashing pink as it sets in the background.

Tess looks sensational with her blonde hair styled into loose curls, and she is showing off her trim frame in a patterned pink maxi dress.

One follower couldn't resist asking where the outfit was from – and the presenter revealed: "I stole it from my daughter!"

She and Vernon are mum and dad to 16-year-old Phoebe, and 12-year-old Amber – who they rarely feature on their respective social media accounts.

Opening up about her evening, Tess added in the post's caption: "Why leave the house for date night when you can have it in your own back garden ??⠀

Vernon also posed for a photo on the sofa over on his own social media page, looking smart in a shirt and with his hair slicked back.

The happy couple live in Buckinghamshire, and don't often give fans an insight into their home – but when Vernon shared a pic from the garden earlier this year, spooked fans were convinced that they'd spotted a ghost.

A striking white mist in the background of the star's beaming selfie alarmed fans, but he later reassured them by insisting it was just smoke from a fire.
