The Apprentice fans are all saying the same thing after candidate Amy says she sang in Coca-Cola and McDonald's ads

THE Apprentice fans were left unconvinced last night when candidate Amy Anzel claimed she sang the jingles for Coca-Cola, McDonald's and Burger King.

The 48-year-old boasted about her accomplishments as she met Lord Sugar for the first time, but he too was unimpressed, asking her: “Is that true or is that a whopper?”

She insisted: “Yes, McDonald's, Burger King, Coca-Cola, I'd Like To Teach The World To Sing.”

The Coco-Cola track was first recorded in 1971- the year before Amy was born, and was reproduced in 1980.

Amy would have been eight years old at the time and the advert famously featured hundreds of children singing the song.

The American was a standout star during last night’s episode as she hilariously compared herself to Steven Spielberg at one point as she tried to direct the girls.

Amy first appeared on US hit The Bachelor in 2002 – getting to the semi-finals in trying to snare a Harvard grad as a husband.

Speaking at the time she said: “It was just another way to meet somebody.

“I’m sick of the scene. I’ve done bars, I’ve done clubs, I’ve done online dating.

“I’ve been set up and obviously nothing’s worked because I’m still single.

“I figured this was another way to get a date and ABC would do the legwork for me. I had nothing to lose.”

She went on to crowdfund a musical version of US comedy series Happy Days, raising £250,000 from 345 investors in just six weeks.
