The Apprentice's Amy Anzel has secret Coronation Street pals – and soap stars are supporting her on the show

THE Apprentice's Amy Anzel has secret Coronation Street star pals – and they're all backing her to win the show.

The beauty mogul, 48, is one of 15 entrepreneurs still in with a chance of winning a 50/50 partnership with Lord Sugar and a £250,000 investment into their business.

And it seems that Amy is close friends with a string of Corrie stars including Lisa George, Katie McGlynn and Victoria Ekanoye.

Three weeks ago the beauty brand business owner shared a picture with Sinead Tinker actress Katie, 28, on her page.

She captioned the post: "Throwback to my lovely trip to Manchester @katiexmcglynn ☺️?⁣."

Katie starred in the hit show between 2013 and 2020 as the much-loved machinist.

In November Amy attended Angie Appleton star Victoria's Bye Bye Boobies fundraiser for Prevent Breast Cancer and Sickle Cell Care.

Victoria played Angie Appleton in the ITV soap between 2017 and 21019.

And not only that, she's also close with Lisa, 49, who took on the role of Beth Tinker in 2011.

And the soap star publicly supported her pal with a gushing post wishing her luck on the BBC series.

It’s unclear how Amy is so close to the Corrie stars, but it could be something to do with her beauty brand.

The beauty entrepreneur is also followed by former Apprentice star Lottie Lion, who competed in the competition in 2019.

But they're not her only famous friends as Amy has also been pictured with Peter Andre at an event.

The new reality star is keen to bag the massive investment deal to help her brand Hollywood Browzer, which already has almost 50k followers on Instagram.

And she's not going to let anything stand in her way.

She told the BBC: “I can be nice when I need to be.

"But when I unfortunately have to be a b***h, I will…”

The highly anticipated fifteenth series of the popular BBC show returned to our screens on Thursday night.

Fans were left fuming after Lord Sugar "fired the wrong person".

The girls managed to win the first task, and project manager Akshay Thakrar brought Akeem Bundu-Kamara and Harry Mahmood back into the boardroom.

But Lord Sugar decided to get rid of Harry because of how "disruptive" he was.

One fan wrote on Twitter: "Harry should not have gone, he was so entertaining compared to the rest. Akeem or Akshay should gone."

Another said: "I’m not happy that Harry has gone."
