The Chase presenter Bradley Walsh and Chaser Mark Labbett failed to contain their laughter during a recent episode of the ITV game show.

Bradley welcomed four new hopefuls to the podium to try their hand at winning a top cash prize, but one question left the host giggling to himself.

The question asked the Chaser and his contestant to pick the name of a real "rock music cookbook," out of "Knives in White Satin, Nobody Does It Batter or Dark Side of the Spoon".

Walsh, Labbett and the contestant all chuckled as they realised the joke before the players settled on an answer.

The contestant picked Dark Side of the Spoon, but a doubtful Bradley seemed unsure and claimed that he would have chosen the first option.

Walsh said: "Got to be…you've put 'Dark Side of the Spoon'. Hmm…not sure about that. I'd have gone for 'Knives in White Satin'."

It turned out the answer was correct and the player moved forward after Bradley praised his choice.

Mark chose Nobody Does It Batter and his excuse was that he "likes batter".

The joke comes after a recent episode of The Chase left viewers swooning over one contestant they claimed looked exactly like one particular Coronation Street actress.

Fans of the ITV show tuned in to see Hollie, who was looking forward to trying her hand at winning the cash prize.

However, audiences were distracting by her looks and claimed that she looked exactly like a younger version of Corrie's Michelle, played by Kym Marsh.

One tweeted: ""Hollie would [be] a celebrity on Corrie, she looks like a young Michelle."

Another wrote: "This is probably a repeat but nevertheless…hello Hollie!"

Others expressed their interest in the lookalike and branded her "cute" and "attractive".

Despite her good looks, Hollie gave a poor performance as she made it through the cash builder round with just £2,000 in her pocket.

But not to fear – all four contestants managed to make it through to the final round with a total of £15,000 and landed themselves 14 steps ahead of the Chaser.
