The Chase's Jenny "The Vixen" Ryan jokingly slammed host Bradley Walsh when she made a sly dig at him on Saturday night.

Hosting a celebrity special on Saturday, November 19, Brad welcomed Coronation Street legend Sally Lindsay, singer Lance Ellington, gymnast Beth Tweddle and jockey Bob Champion to the show in order to take on the chaser.

The four celebrities had high hopes of winning big chunks of money for their chosen charities.

But with the famous faces up against Jenny Ryan, also known fondly as The Vixen, the foursome had to work hard in order to beat the talented quizzer.

After singer Lance had made it back to home with a chunk of cash for the celebrities to win again at the end of all four rounds, Beth was up next.

Taking her place at the podium, Jenny welcomed the gymnast to the show – and while doing so seemed to make a veiled dig at Bradders.

After saying hello to Beth, Jenny added: "It's great to meet someone that's swung from more bars than Brad's been thrown out of."

Beth made it back to home and so did jockey Bob, with the three celebrities having banked £8,000.

Then it was down to Corrie's Sally to take on The Vixen in order to bank some more cash for her and her team's charities.

After winning a huge £8,000, Jenny then offered the former Corrie star an even bigger amount of money.

Jenny offered Sally a whopping £152,000 – leaving Bradley taken aback.

After mulling it over and saying how it was a once in a lifetime opportunity, Sally took the plunge and accepted The Vixen's whopper offer.

When the episode aired for the first time in February 2022, viewers at home were gobsmacked by Sally's bold choice, as well impressed by her brains.

One fan took to Twitter to say: "#TheChase Sally Lindsay much brighter than I had realised."

But Sally lost out on the incredible offer and was unfortunately kicked off the show before the Final Chase, leaving her three teammates to face Jenny in the final round.

She was caught by Jenny while being just one step away from making it back to the panel.
