As fans prepare for the first Movie week on The Masked Singer, fans believe they have worked out who the mystery celeb is behind Robobunny and one of them is linked to a famous boyband member.

Last weekend, the popular ITV talent competition returned for the third series with a whole new line-up of celebs hidden behind the show’s most eccentric costumes yet.

And one character which has got everyone talking is the largest costume to appear on the show to date and towers over the other 10 contestants on the show.

But thousands of viewers couldn’t help but think the face behind the mask was Blue boyband member Lee Ryan or Westlife star Markus Feehily.

Before the performance, viewers watched a clue-ridden VT which gave subtle hints as to who could be the famous celebrity behind the mask.

Then fans were treated to a showstopping rendition of Whitney Houston’s song Saving All My Love For You along with the extra clue: "I might be made of metal but that doesn’t stop me from making a splash."

After watching the impressive routine, fans swarmed to social media as they put their detective hats on to share their theories online.

Some of the main hints fans picked up on was that the person behind the mask is “part of a machine” who many believe could indicate the star is part of a group or band.

Another reference to a Lee Ryan’s pop star career was the clue “splash” which could link to his voice work in the Ice Age movies.

A third viewer noted the blue lights in the VT could be a direct link to his presence in the band Blue.

However, Westlife fans came out in their thousands all with the same theory that the robotic rabbit was Markus Feehily from the Irish boyband.

One fan argued: "Robobunny is 100% Markus Feehily from Westlife, No questions asked!!

"He appeared in an episode of Doc Martin called 'Ctrl, alt, delete" and his voice is EXCATLY the same as Robobunny’s.

"Sticking to this guess until the end! #MaskedSingerUK."

Another added: "#TheMaskedSingerUK #robobunny is def @MarkusFeehily ‘alright folks, what’s the story’ is Bugs quote, @westlifemusic people will know!"

A third chimed in with: "If #Robobunny isn’t @MarkusFeehily I honestly don’t know what I've been listening to since 1998 #MaskedSingerUK."

"Look who's trending mateeeee! It's WESTLIFE! @MarkusFeehily love you mannnn!#Robobunny #TheMaskedSinger #MaskedSingerUK #TheMaskedSingerUK," added another person.
