BBC The Traitors winner Hannah Byczkowski revealed that her family had thought she was "kidnapped" after she'd been away for so long to film the BBC game show.

Hannah was away filming the show for three weeks and successfully went on to the win alongside fellow contestants Meryl Williams and Aaron Evans.

The 32-year-old told This Morning presenters Josie Gibbons and Andi Peters about her family's concerns.

She said: "My family were like has she been kidnapped, she must be doing well," she revealed when asked about being away from her family and friends for the show.

The show is filmed in Scotland, where the contestants stay in the huge Ardross Castle.

Hannah also shared her feelings when she'd realised that Wilfred was a Traitor, just moments before she, Meryl and Aaron won the show.

"When Wilf said [he was a Traitor] I thought, 'Well I've just won a hundred grand so I can't be too mad,'" she giggled.

On the other hand, Meryl said the news shocked her as she'd practically lost a friend.

"I was sad to lose my friend but I wanted to get out the traitors," she confessed. "It's hard to differentiate between friendships and contestants because we built such strong good friendships in there."

Elsewhere in the conversation, Aaron admitted that he "barely packed" as he was sure he wouldn't last long on the BBC show.

"I thought I'd be in there seven days, that's why I had the same jeans on all the time, I barely packed," he laughed.

The final episode of the show aired on Thursday night and viewers were left on the edge of the seats over the revelations from the Claudia Winkleman-led show.

After watching the final, one fan took to Twitter with words of praise.

"Unbelievable finale & series… Genius casting, storytelling & beautifully shot. Wilf played an incredible game, but my winner has to be the Traitor Queen @Amanda_Lovett25. Well done all cast & crew #TheTraitors @ClaudiaWinkle", they wrote.
