Earlier this year, Sheridan was confirmed to be playing the narrator in this Summer's production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat at the London Palladium.

The play runs from June, 27 to September, 8.

She will star alongside Jac Yarrow and Jason Donovan as the Pharoh.

Speaking to the Express about what happened, she said: "I kind of lost it a bit after he died. In public it looks like I've moaned about everything with my dad dying, but that's not the case. I just had a massive meltdown."

However, she reassured fans she's now in a much better place, adding: "I've come out the other side now and I need to get it all out through my music."
