What time does Bake Off 2021 start?

The Great British Bake Off is the wholesome show that everyone needs, filled with delicious treats, cheeky innuendos and a Paul Hollywood handshake or two if you’re lucky. The Channel 4 reality series will be returning for its 12th season with a batch of new contestants desperate to be crowned this year’s winner. Here’s everything you need to know about watching the upcoming season of GBBO.

Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith are going to be back for the best job ever – cake testing – very soon, alongside presenters Matt Lucas and Noel Fielding.

Actor and comedian Lucas joined the ranks during season 11 after former co-host Sandi Toksvig decided to quit.

The foursome will be both encouraging the bakers, as well as putting them through some difficult challenges to see if they have got what it takes to become the ultimate star baker.

Season 12 was once again filmed in the iconic white tent on the land of Down Hall Hotel Spa and Estate in Bishop’s Stortford.

What time does Bake Off 2021 start?

The Great British Bake Off is going to premiere this evening, Tuesday, September 21, at 8pm, on Channel 4.

This will be the start of season 12 and so is going to be a little longer than usual.

Episode one will be on for an hour-and-a-half, coming to a close at around 9.30pm.

After this, each of the episodes from then on is going to be on for just 60 minutes.

GBBO will be shown in the UK every Tuesday at 8pm on Channel 4 for the remainder of the series.

The show was filmed over a period of six weeks but given that there are a total of 12 contestants, Bake Off will be on for a while longer.

Therefore, the grand finale is going to air on Tuesday, November 23, on Channel 4.
