GB News launched yesterday (June 13) and will provide viewers with a new 24-hour news channel. The network is being led by Andrew Neil and he is bringing with him a series of high-profile journalists for the show. But where is GB News based?

GB News is a new broadcasting news station for the UK, offering viewers an alternative source of news content outside of the primary stations.
The channel’s headquarters are in Paddington, London and the station is available to watch across the UK and beyond.
GB News launched yesterday, June 13, and brings together a series of journalists and presenters across a number of different shows.
The chairman and lead presenter of the channel is Andrew Neil, the former BBC presenter and he helped form the channel ahead of its launch.
Programming across the station includes The Great British Breakfast, which will be hosted by Nana Akua, Kirsty Gallacher, Rebecca Hutson, Inaya Folarin Iman, Darren McCaffrey and Rosie Wright.
All these presenters will also work across different shows throughout GB News.
Rounding out the programming is Dewbs & Co, hosted by Michelle Dewberry, Tonight Live with Dan Wooton and Alastair Stewart & Friends.
The final programs in the schedule are Tonight Live with Nana Akua, Neil Oliver Live, and Free Speech Nation.
The channel finally premiered last night, with Andrew Neil leading the show and guest Alan Sugar joining him.
Neil said during the opening broadcast: “Now is the time to do news differently, we are committed to covering the people’s agenda, not the media’s agenda.”
The channel will serve as a 24-hour source of news, with content being available to watch throughout the day.
During the premiere, all the hosts were introduced, and viewers could get an understanding of the type and style of content that would be available.
The channel was originally going to launch in March 2021 but suffered a series of delays due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Now that the channel is finally here, however, fans can tune in whenever they like, with all the segments offering an alternative to established news content.
Premiering at 8pm, Sunday, June 13, there is still a lot of anticipation for how the show will be received.
Viewers should expect final opinions to form throughout the week.
Viewers have been reacting to the new news show on Twitter, with the broadcaster dividing opinion.
One viewer said: “Always, always remember the majority of the viewers are on your side, we don’t expect perfection, we just want our voice heard for once.”
Another shared: “Not a great start, sound problems, lighting problems, cheap and cheerful graphics. Amateurish all round and that’s before the drivel.”
A third commented: “It’s so refreshing, and I’m so glad to be able to switch over from the BBC which is the only news I’ve watched over recent years – and even that was becoming hard to watch!”
GB News is available to watch on Sky, Virgin Media, Freeview, YouView and Freesat.
