PAMELA Anderson has surprised fans as it's been revealed she has tied the knot for a fifth time, marrying movie mogul Jon Peters.
The pair – who first dated over 30 years ago – became man and wife in an intimate Malibu ceremony but what else do we know about the Baywatch star's new hubby?
Who is Jon Peters?
Jon Peters, who has been divorced four times, is a hairdresser turned multi-millionaire movie bigwig.
As a producers, Jon has helped to make Batman, Rain Man, Superman Returns and An American Werewolf In London.
The 74-year-old is most famous for a stormy and “violent” 12-year relationship with Barbra Streisand, who starred in the 1976 version of A Star Is Born.
As main producer for that film, Peters’ contract gave him the right to to be involved with any remake.
And according to Bill Gerber, a producer on the latest A Star Is Born starring Lady Gaga, the influential producer was instrumental in getting the latest film made.
He told the Hollywood Reporter last year: "There were a lot of complicated deals on A Star Is Born, a lot of heavy-hitters. And Jon could not have been more helpful in getting it all in line."
When did Jon Peters and Pamela Anderson get married?
Pamela Anderson and Jon Peters tied the knot in a surprise ceremony on January 20, 2020.
Speaking about his shock nuptials with the 52-year-old actress, Jon told TMZ: "There are beautiful girls everywhere. I could have my pick, but – for 35 years – I’ve only wanted Pamela.
"She makes me wild, in a good way. She inspires me. I protect her and treat her the way she deserves to be treated."
Talking about her acting career, he gushed: "Pamela has never seen her full potential as an artist. She has yet to shine in a real way. There is much more to her than meets the eye, or I wouldn’t love her so much."
Pamela wrote of her wedding: "Jon is the original ‘bad boy’ of Hollywood – no one compares. I love him deeply like family. His life used to scare me. We understand and respect each other – We love each other without conditions. I’m a lucky woman. Proof God has a plan."
Who has Jon Peters dated?
Jon revelled in his a reputation as a Hollywood player and was the inspiration for Warren Beatty’s bed-hopping stylist in 1975 movie Shampoo.
He has boasted of sleeping with then-married Kim Basinger while making 1989’s Batman, which starred Michael Keaton in the lead.
He said: “Michael had the eye for Kim. I remember he got mad at me when she and I hooked up.”
The father-of-five has also been romantically linked to Catherine Zeta-Jones, Jacqueline Bisset, Linda Evans and Sharon Stone.
What were the sexual abuse allegations made against Jon Peters?
He has long been forced to fight off accusations of sexual harassment, settling many claims out of court.
In 2011, a court ordered him to pay personal assistant Shelly Morita £2.25million in damages after a jury believed her account of a catalogue of sexual harassment.
Shelly told the court that despite sleeping in separate rooms while working on 2006's Superman Returns in Australia: "I woke up and he was in my bed. He said, ‘I can’t sleep . . . I’m lonely, let me just stay here with you'."
Other allegations include that he grabbed the breasts of two assistants and flashed his private parts at a three-year-old girl while saying: "Look what boys have."
Years before Hollywood’s Harvey Weinstein scandal, which led to the #MeToo movement, five private law suits were launched against Peters for mistreating staff.
