I left my advertising job to hold virtual sex parties with 60 people during Covid and joined OnlyFans to help pay bills
REV Rucifer knows what it takes to build a brand.
The 37-year-old – who hails from Brooklyn, New York – has a master's degree in creative brand management and a decade of experience in advertising.
But she doesn't use her professional expertise for the corporate world.
In fact, Rev spends her time building up her own personal empire in the shape of her Reiki Bondage work, her OnlyFans page, and her consultancy firm The Shift Work Shop.
She told The Sun how she left her office job behind to make the move into "pleasurable pursuits."
Rev said: "I worked in advertising and marketing for about 10 years, I have a master's degree.
"But it sucked my soul out.
"I got fired and that was like an atomic bomb went off."

After that Rev says she started to look for other jobs.
"The firing was the catalyst for everything that was to come," she added.
"I started to think about what else is out there. I decided to explore more pleasurable pursuits.
"I've always been interested in sex and pleasure.
"So I started to involve my Reiki practice – to see if I could bring it all together.
"I started workshops and classes and working in a sex club. Easing into it and thinking about what my brand would be.
"I have been doing it about thee years now. I only started my OnlyFans about two years ago."
During the Covid pandemic, Rev even adapted to the online world, hosting sex parties on the internet.
She added: "I did not know you could have that much pleasure in a Zoom call.
"We make sure people feel safe. We have performers and a workshop.
"People can learn how to pose and take sexy photos and we have sexy storytime.
"Then we have masturbation, free play.
"We had to think about safety and consent so we had a system of red, yellow, and green.
"There might have been people who wanted to chat, get involved, voyeurs so their color reflected that. You could change your color as you wanted through the night.
"It was very important to me that it was a safe space.
"Each party had between 40 to 60 people at it and they lasted from about 8pm to 1 or 2am.
"There were so many hot scenes going on. We set it up like a real party, with lots of different rooms. There were different desires."
JOINS ONLY FANS
And she even used her OnlyFans account to help pay off her student loan.
"I took out way more debt than I knew I was getting myself into.
"By the end of grad school, I was taking out student loans to pay for all of my classes and living expenses. When I graduated, it was about $80,000.
"They got up to $90,000 with interest."
She said she was "initially reluctant" to join the site but soon found it "helped pay off my student loans and other bills."
The site ended up helping pay off $1,000 a year.
Rucifer added: "I was struggling to make rent and to buy groceries.
"I started my OnlyFans in June 2020 and I could not have survived the year without the money I made on on the platform."
For Rev, her work is hugely rewarding.
She added: "I help people remove shame and invite more pleasure.
"What I do helps people to trust their own bodies and desires. I have seen massive changes in people I have helped.
"I do private sessions, workshops, classes.
"The money you are making is for you and not for someone else.
"I can support myself and support my passions. It is way more fun than having to go into a corporate office.
"That said it is not easy and it is hard work. The best bit about my job is seeing people transform into people who know their own pleasure."
But she does admit to still facing certain stigmas.
She said: "I've had mixed responses from my friends and family.
"It is still sex work and people do not understand. My mother still doesn't understand."
Still, Rev says: "I love my work – it is the best job I have had."
