Inside eerie abandoned love hotel with kinky UFO rooms and Disney-themed dungeon

These eerie pictures capture inside one what was once believed to be one of the biggest and most high-end love motels in the world.

The kinky hotel on Honshu, Japan, is now derelict after years of trade.

It prided itself in offering various peculiar features, including UFO rooms with "spaceship beds" and a Disney-themed dungeon.

Footage taken inside the maze of derelict chambers show an eerie bondage room, colourful furniture, moving beds and clusters of mirrors to watch your partner from different angles.

Bob Thissen, 33, has spent years travelling the world as an urban explorer.

The Dutchman has explored hundreds of abandoned places all over the world but says this is the biggest and most high-end love motel he has ever seen.

"This place had the craziest rooms I've ever seen, including moving UFO beds, a rotating merry-go-round bed, a bondage room and many more," Mr Thissen said.

"In Japan you often get multiple generations living in the same house, so people used to come here to have some privacy and fun and get a break from their busy life.

"You can only find love motels like this one in Latin America and Asia."

But the urban explorer has not revealed the precise location of the old hotel in fear of vandalism.

He added: "The Showa era terminated in 1989 with the death of the Emperor Showa, and after that it became increasingly difficult to open love motels as big as this one.

"Many motels that were thriving during the Showa era also shut down.

"What was also great about these motels is that they granted you full privacy."

Among the other high-tech amenities in the hotel were a pneumatic tube system for discreet payments and features in rooms with different themes.

These rooms could be rented for a whole night or just for only a few hours.
