Mom, 39, found stabbed to death in an apartment doorway after her chilling confession about her dead two-month-old boy
A 39-YEAR-old mom has been stabbed to death nearly a year after she confessed to putting her dead two-month-old son in a dumpster.
LaDonia Boggs was unresponsive when police found her unresponsivein the doorway of a Washington DC apartment on Wednesday morning.
The child's father Carl Jones, 44, stabbed Boggs in a "domestic dispute," according to police.
Jones was arrested and charged with second-degree murder while armed, as reported by Fox5.
Jones and Boggs' son Kyon Jones was reported missing in May 2021, a week before Boggs told a missing persons advocate she rolled over on the baby while sleeping.
The mom claimed she panicked and "got a blanket and his car seat, and wrapped it up and took it outside and just throwed it in the trash,” according to NBC Washington.

She also admitted to being under the influence of PCP, to court documents, but later retracted her statement.
Police then searched for the baby's body in a Virginia landfill, but it was never found.
Boggs was arrested for the murder of her baby Kyon Jones, but was never charged.

Instead, she was charged with Tampering with Evidence.
Jones, the baby's father now charged with Boggs' murder, told police at the time that Boggs had told him the baby would be gone for a long time because he was taken by Child and Family Services (CPS).

He also claimed Boggs' drug use had recently worsened.
Investigations into the baby's death, as well as the mom's, are ongoing, police said.
