Mum, 26, sobs as she and boyfriend, 31, appear in court for murder of five-week-old baby at home

A MUM today wept as she and her boyfriend appeared in court charged with murdering their five-week-old baby boy.

Little Sean Clark died at a home in Warmley, Gloucs, in January 2018.


James Dean Clark, 31, and Helen Jeremy, 26, have been charged with murder.

The parents are also facing charges of causing or allowing the death of a child.

They both appeared at Bristol Magistrates’ Court today where mum Jeremy wept as the charges were read out.

The pair spoke only to confirm their names and addresses and were remanded in custody.

Clark and Jeremy will appear at Bristol Crown Court tomorrow.

A police spokesperson said: "We’ve charged two people with the murder of a five-week-old boy in 2018.

"They remain in police custody and will appear at Bristol Magistrates’ Court later today.

"The charges relate to the death of Sean Clark who died at an address (in) Warmley on 14 January 2018."
