The eldest grandchild of JFK and Jackie Kennedy Onassis is as far away from the trappings of Camelot as you could get.
Rose Kennedy Schlossberg was seen helping out at a kids’ event being held at her wife Rory McAuliffe’s restaurant Rory’s Place last weekend in Ojai, California.
While Rory, 32, was busy with another event in Santa Monica, it was Rose -affectionately called ‘Ro’ or ‘Ro Ro’ by friends – who was able to step in.
The 34-year-old was seen bussing tables, greeting guests, grabbing coffee for the parents, and even reading books to several of the children.

She was later seen at Ojai’s popular Libbey Park pushing little ones on the swing and watching them on the jungle gym

The kid- and pet-friendly Piggy Bank Café took over the restaurant space on Sunday for three hours and served up vegetarian foods that featured healthy and organic fare for both adults and kids.
The menu featured Danish pancake puffs with bananas, berries, organic whipped cream and peanut butter drizzle, fluffy egg frittatas, avocado toast, and a tofu boat with baked tofu, beans, carrots, avocado and more by a local chef,
Ro’s hospitality didn’t end at the event.
She was later seen at Ojai’s popular Libbey Park pushing little ones on the swing and watching them on the jungle gym.
When trying to get her attention, both adults and kids alike could be heard saying, ‘Ro! Ro!’
As these exclusive DailyMail.com photos show, she did it all with a smile on her face and while resembling her famous grandmother Jackie with dark hair and wide set eyes.

Rose is the eldest child of Caroline Kennedy, 65, and her husband Edwin Schlossberg, 77
Jacqueline Bouvier was the wife of President John F. Kennedy and mother to Caroline, 65, and John Jr. who passed away in a plane crash in 1999 at the age of 38.
As the eldest child of the current US Ambassador to Australia, Caroline Kennedy, 65, and her husband Edwin Schlossberg, 77, Rose was raised with siblings Tatiana, 32, Jack, 30, on the Upper East Side of Manhattan.
She was just five when her beloved grandmother passed away from Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma in 1994.
She attended the prestigious Brearley private school, where tuition is $60k a year.
After high school, she went on to get an English degree from Harvard University.
While she later dabbled in politics, filmmaking and fashion, Rose has settled into a relaxing life on the West Coast.
Last October, DailyMail.com spotted the physically fit Kennedy partaking in one of her favorite sports – surfing – in Ventura.

In May of 2022, she and wife Rory exchanged ‘I do’s’ in front of 300 friends and family at their $1.2million home in Ojai.
Rory, and her older sister Maeve, 36, co-own a farm-to-table restaurant that has become a hot spot in the last year.
Ojai is approximately thirteen miles inland from costal Ventura and has a population of around 8,000.
It attracts the artsy crowd, outdoor enthusiasts because of the biking and walking trails, and the pampered Los Angeles set who visit the stunning Ojai Valley Inn & Spa.
While Rory’s Place has only been open just over a year, Rose has shown she’s not afraid to roll up her sleeves and chip in and help.
She regularly visits farms with her wife helping pick fruits and veggies for that evening’s menu.
Rose likely could have followed in other Kennedy family member’s footsteps and pursued a life in the limelight but has chosen her own path in a small town where to them, she’s just ‘Ro.’
