Where does Jill Biden teach?

JILL Biden is the wife of President Joe Biden – and a lifelong educator.

The first lady, who turned 70 in June of 2021, still serves as a teacher despite her extensive White House duties.

Where does Jill Biden teach?

Jill Biden taught three classes this semester at Northern Virginia Community College, according to Vogue.

The first lady told the magazine that she was constantly told she would not be able to continue teaching.

“I heard that all the time during the campaign,” she told Vogue.

“Like, ‘No. You’re not going to be able to teach as first lady.’

"And I said, ‘Why not? You make things happen, right?’”

Jill Biden was featured on the cover of Vogue – an honor that the magazine did not consider for former first lady Melania Trump.

Jill Biden previously taught English for about 15 years at Delaware Technical and Community College.

She received a Doctor of Education in educational leadership from the University of Delaware in 2007.

She wrote her dissertation on community college student retention, asking what steps colleges can take to improve it.

Vogue describes Jill Biden as "driven, tireless, effortlessly popular, but also someone who reminds us of ourselves."

She has a lot on her plate in her role as first lady, including the relaunch of Joining Forces, a military family–support initiative that she started with Michelle Obama a decade ago.

Jill Biden was second lady from 2009 until 2017 when Barack Obama was president and her husband vice president.

“Well, don’t you think that I always had a lot going on? I like that kind of energy,” she told Vogue.

“When I became second lady – and there was so much I wanted to do – I always said, ‘I will never waste this platform.'"
