Man Utd, Arsenal and Chelsea told they must fork out £90m to land Kai Havertz transfer – The Sun

PREMIER LEAGUE trio Manchester United, Arsenal and Chelsea have reportedly been told to splash out £90million if they want to land Bayer Leverkusen's hot-prospect Kai Havertz.

The 20-year-old midfielder scored 17 goals in the Bundesliga last term but has indicated that this could be his last season at the BayArena.

The Premier League trio will face stiff competition if they are to secure the wonderkid's signature next summer.

German giants Bayern Munich are thought to be leading the race for the prodigy's signature.

But Borussia Dortmund are also eyeing him as a potential Jadon Sancho replacement if the Englishman is to move on.

Havertz himself is believed to be happy at Leverkusen – but ready to move on next summer.

The German, already capped five times by Joachim Low, is thought to be happy at Leverkusen – but ready to move on next summer.

He told Sportbuzzer: "I am happy to stay at Leverkusen for one more year.

"What happens next summer will be experienced in the future."

Havertz is contracted with Leverkusen until 2022, but the Daily Express believe that the Bundesliga club are ready to cash in.

But only if someone is willing to stump up an eye-watering £90million.

This could favour the Premier League clubs, with Bayern having a future fee to pay to Barcelona in order to make Philippe Coutinho's loan move permanent.

The Leverkusen academy graduate already has Champions League experience – including a substitute appearance against Tottenham as a teenager in the side's 0-0 draw three years ago.

He has featured in every minute of his team's seven matches in all competitions so far this season – netting in wins over Aachen and Paderborn.
