MANCHESTER UNITED and Chelsea sit below Crystal Palace in the 2019 Premier League form table.
The two fading giants sit well over 20 points behind Liverpool and Manchester City at the top of the standings and find themselves below Roy Hodgson's South London outfit.
But it's even worse news for Tottenham, who sit NINTH of the 17 teams who have played in the Premier League all year.
City and Liverpool lead the way with 67 points from their 26 games this calendar year.
The Reds have lost just once, to the three defeats suffered by Pep Guardiola's side, but boast a marginally better goal difference.
Arsenal sit third, 20 POINTS back on 47 – while Hodgson has inspired his Crystal Palace to fourth in the 2019 standings with 44 points.
That's ahead of both Chelsea (43pts) and Man Utd (40pts) – with the latter particularly struggling at the start of this season.
GARETH BALE has been urged to snub a move away from Real Madrid and stay at the Bernabeu by team-mate Luka Modric.
The Welshman has been linked with a January switch to Manchester United following months of turbulence in the Spanish capital.
Modric said: “He is an amazing player and very important for the team.
“He is showing that this season. Hopefully he will stay this season and the next seasons as well.”
CHRIS SUTTON was impressed by Harry Winks' performance for England last night.

“But nobody got near Harry Winks who dictated play throughout.
“Ross Barkley was making runs, Raheem Sterling and Marcus Rashford were dangerous and there was plenty of link-up play with Harry Kane.”
